Role Summary/Purpose

Project Coordinator will be a critical member of the Project Management team, having ownership of complex project orders directed to GE’s Brilliant Factory in Jacksonville, FL. The Project Coordinator will work in all aspects of order entry by utilizing SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking, and order entry completion.

Essential Responsibilities

Project Coordinator will be a critical member of the Project Management team, having ownership of complex project orders directed to GE’s Brilliant Factory in Jacksonville, FL. The Project Coordinator will work in all aspects of order entry by utilizing SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking, and order entry completion. In this role the individual will make decisions and drive actions to resolve issues preventing on time completion of orders under their care. They will also drive operation rigor in reporting daily/weekly reporting and operation rigor measurement of KPIs (key performance measurements) such as the revenue report and project management dashboard.

In the role of Project Coordinator, you will:

Resolve all PO discrepancies with customer prior to order booking

Own order entry throughout all phases of order execution for orders assigned. This includes proactively taking actions to minimize blocked orders and turnaround time by attending team meetings, identifying potential issues to the appropriate function for action, and escalating issues that cannot be resolved at the lowest level

Own order entry of all complex project orders assigned which will include receiving, reviewing and validating Purchase Orders (PO) to ensure the ITO team has met all requirements and only compliant bookings occur; during an end of quarter surge this might increase the throughput of order booking and will require additional focus

Coordinate issues resolution with the function providing the corrective actions, this requires responsive customer communication with regular updates on progress on behalf of the company

Ensure proper billing is kept through applications of tax certificate, concessions and billing credits

Own order’s metrics such as cycle time to drive effective execution and performance; monitor variances to order metrics to enhance processes

Develop and maintain open orders status report for customer orders fulfillment

Drive operational reporting of KPIs to Operations Leader. For Shipped not rev rec, revenue forecast, and project management dashboard

Solid working business financial knowledge

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer care experience in oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls)

Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, customer care and/or project management experience in oil & gas, power, heavy equipment, or automation & controls

Additional Eligibility Requirement –

Experience with Natural Gas Pipeline Transmission and Distribution markets with emphasis on flow regulation and valve requirements

MS Office expertise: Outlook, Office, Excel and PowerPoint
