We?re looking for a Senior Program Analyst at our N. Charleston, SC location that will perform financial analysis and reporting in support of a major program.
Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for various financial functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Collects and reviews financial data from various sources.
Creates, maintains, and updates financial databases and spreadsheets, and generates various financial reports as required.
Analyzes assigned contracts' projected staff hours, contract totals, revenues, and profit totals.
Maintains appropriate records and documentation.
Supports assigned program manager in managing, tracking, monitoring, and reporting financial data as requested.
Participates in the preparation of cost proposals (EACs).
Conducts audits and analysis of their organization's direct and indirect costs, and reviews their practices and procedures, ensuring that labor and non-labor charges are approved, allowable, and processed in a timely manner.
May have risk identification and recovery responsibilities.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as DAR, FAR, SOX and other government regulations.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Participates in special projects as required.
Bachelors Degree with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent
2+ years of related experience
Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
Experience summarizing results and producing management reports;
Strong oral and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills;
Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team;
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to ?think outside the box? while identifying problems and developing creative solutions;
Understanding and use of Oracle financial tools preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables); ability to analyze, interpret, and compile information from a variety of sources
