What a typical day as a Production Coordinator might look like: Examine documents, materials, and products to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards.
Review production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements.
Record production data including volume, raw material consumption, and quality control measures.
Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies.
Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, shortages, or interruptions.
Distribute production schedules and work orders to departments.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: High School diploma or GED required
5-7 years of related experience required
Exercises independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production
Previous experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
