As a Product Line Manager (PLM) you are responsible for the development and profitable growth of your product line, i.e. Manual Lab Products and Automated Lab Systems in North America and South America.Your responsibilitiesProvide expert technical support for Sales, Engineering, Procurement, etc. This includes ad hoc support as well as planned training, development of internal as well as external sales and promotional materialProvide tools and services that help drive internal and external productivityAssists to define Products Marketing Strategy and Support Marketing and Regions in the implementationWorks closely with the Global Product Manager (GPLM), Regional Product Line Managers (RPLMs) and Industry Sales Support (ISS) to provide the necessary support to the region, but also works closely with Global Procurement to align on operational and strategic topics incl. Inventory and Stocking levelsConduct competitor analysesTogether with procurement ensures that relevant procurement plans are in place as well as maintaining a healthy, long-term relationship with strategic partnersYou will work strategically with procurement and engineering on improving margins for products and systemsYou will work with other SPA-M GPLM's to broaden automation, digitalisation and sustainability throughout the complete SPA-M product portfolio and thereby provide a holistic approach to the SPA-M solutions.Works with global and regional marketing to ensure external marketing is optimal for your product line(s), e.g. web content, social media postsCarries out the research to determine customer needs in order to develop new products, prune others as required, identify other improvements and secure optimal global pricingProvides sales price and contribution margin range for guidance of the external sales priceWhat you bringAt least 5 years' experience within Sampling, Preparation and Analysis area within Mining IndustryRelevant engineering or science degree(s); A Post-graduate degree would be advantageous.Knowledge of relevant mining and laboratory processesAbility to work and lead in a global team with stakeholders in different time zonesAbility to plan and work in a structured mannerAbility to work strategically as well as tactically and with a 'can do' attitudeCommercial flair and preferably experience from sales role or other customer interacting roleProficient in English.
