What You’ll Do

Location:Remotely from the United StatesOROnsite at our Seattle, Washington Office
Reports to: Senior Director, Product Management
Direct Reports: 0
Maintain the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business impact and customer value.
Engage directly with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and convert those insights into product enhancements.
Primary point of contact for the engineering team, facilitating clear communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, and ensuring alignment on product goals and priorities.
Write detailed product specifications, ensure that the final product/ feature meets the requirements and delivers optimal user experience.
Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including sales, customer success, marketing, and technical support, to ensure product success and customer satisfaction.
Effectively communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders, including senior management, customers and external partners.
Conduct market research and analysis to understand market trends, pricing, and competitive landscape and use it to improve product offerings.

What You Bring

8+ years of product experience on medium to large products
Bachelor's degree in fields of computer science, engineering or related fields
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate product vision and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Effective in contributing to technical discussions, influencing technology decisions and strategies pertaining to product development.
Demonstrated passion for prioritizing customer needs, making critical trade-offs between team capacity and customer demands.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of developing innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
Experience in collaborating with international customer and coordinating with global teams.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for short periods of time.

Preferred Experience

1-2 years of experience in a combination of hardware and software products.
Experience in video and audio devices or software.
Background in working closely with Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance and other related departments to drive product success.

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 120,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 230,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 210,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 390,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
