This Materials Specialist role will support the operations department.
Position Summary and Responsibilities
Keep our ERP book inventory synced with physical inventory
Be able to do all setup and transactions in our ERP system to accomplish above
Hands On involvement in material tracking
Reconcile inventory discrepancies
Identifying and resolving any material related issues from receiving through shipping
Analytical and Problem-solving skills to come up with ways to improve overall efficiency and overcome issues.
Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
Be able to create waterfall analysis of an item for demand prediction.
Create spreadsheets and update existing spreadsheets
Enter demand into the ERP system
Qualifications
Personal Qualities
The ability to handle multiple projects at one time in an efficient and timely manner.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy
Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Able to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and nights as needed
Able to lift 25 pounds without restriction
Background
Must have 5+ years working in a similar position in an electronic manufacturing environment
Must have an advanced degree or show continuing education relevant to a production environment.
