Part-Time Math Instructor

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Instructor to join our team, responsible for delivering engaging Math courses in alignment with our institution's standards and guidelines. This position is remote/home-based, reporting to our esteemed Online Program Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Craft and deliver comprehensive lectures, labs, and clinical instruction adhering to prescribed curriculum.
Ensure alignment with course outlines, objectives, and evaluation methods, and contribute to their development when necessary.
Maintain organized lesson plans documenting daily instructional activities.
Monitor student attendance and engagement to foster retention and success.
Assess student assignments promptly and provide constructive feedback, assigning final grades in a timely manner.
Offer educational support during designated office hours and by appointment.
Step in to substitute when needed, ensuring continuity in instruction.
Provide guidance to students on school policies and academic performance.
Uphold a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
Stay abreast of industry advancements through ongoing professional development activities such as seminars, literature review, and online courses.
Participate in committee assignments as required, leveraging expertise to contribute to campus initiatives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Master's Degree in Mathematics or related field, or a Master's Degree in another discipline with 15 semester credit hours in Mathematics.
Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated proficiency in customer service.
Prior experience in distance education is advantageous.
COMPENSATION:
Part-time position.
Teaching sessions scheduled 1-2 times per week, comprising 2-hour live lectures in Pacific Standard Time (PST).
Compensation: $1,250.00 per 10-week course taught.
