Paralegal
Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited (IBIE), a global investment firm, is looking for a Paralegal to join its growing Legal Team in Dublin. This position requires a highly organised and proactive person who pays attention to detail, can multitask, is self-motivated, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Legal research and analysis relating to regulatory, corporate, commercial, and other matters
Supporting the day-to-day legal requirements of the business, including Compliance, Risk, Operations, Management, IT, Record-keeping, and other functions.
Communicating with IT for implementation/roll-out of new/revised legal documentation.
Assisting with the management of account life-cycle events such as insolvencies and incapacities.
Testing IBKR account applications and collecting information to assist in drafting specifications for new functions, procedures, products, or tools.
Assisting with handling invoices and billing arrangements, including liaising with external advisors.
Organising and archiving contracts, including uploading contracts to the Legal Agreements Database
Coordinating the execution of legal documentation within the IBKR Group entities
Assisting with general office administrative tasks
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in law (preferred)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (knowledge of Jira and Confluence is desirable)
one to three years of paralegal experience or other relevant experience in a legal setting or financial services/technology
Knowledge of regulatory, corporate and commercial law is desirable.
Fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with others.
