Description of Duties/Essential Functions Under general supervision of the Record Office Supervisor (Executive II), performs avariety ofdifficult and responsible clerical duties in the maintenance of records and files for theoffenders atStateville Correctional Center; integrates filing into the master files; receives andkeyboards reports, documents and other correspondence as directed.

Minimum Requirements
Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and one year of related office experience.Requires working knowledge of officepractices, procedures and programs. Requires working knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation. Requires working knowledge of basic mathematics. Requires ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Requires ability to operate commonly used manual and automated office equipment and perform routine maintenance. Requires the ability to keyboard accurately at 35 wpm.

Conditions of Employment: Requires the ability to pass the IDOC/IDJJ background check.

Work Hours & Location/Agency Contact
Anticipated Starting Salary: $2958/month; $35,496/year
Current bargaining unit employees – Contractual language applies
Full bargaining unit range: $35,496/year - $48,912/year

WORK HOURS: 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday withSaturday and Sunday off.
