We are seeking a New Site Build Foreman to join our growing team in the Las Vegas area. This person will be responsible for the entire install, above and underground, at new telecommunication sites across the state. The NSB Foreman will routinely work with all outside contractors, inspectors, and company departments to complete your work assignments. This person will need to be able to delegate tasks across their crew members in order to achieve the milestone dates that are provided by their management team. Along with construction of cell sites, the NSB Foreman will need to have the knowledge of reading plans, digging, operating equipment, concrete work, block walls, rebar cages, tower stacking, tower and ground customer equipment, and troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage 2-4 crew members and mentor and train junior team members Manage multiple sites at one time Perform general construction of new sites to include, but not limited to: site layout, clearing, excavation, concrete foundations/slabs, site assembly, trenching/conduit installation, H-frames, temporary fencing, aggregate roads/compounds, cabinet placement, wiring, securing cables, tower installs, maintenance/repair, and other tasks in accordance with specified work orders Operation of digging equipment, aerial lifts, reach forks Evaluate the job sites for customer supplied equipment and materials required Fully test an antenna/line system as required via PIM or Sweep; set azimuth and setting RETs Follow detailed method of procedures (MOP) and practices to perform maintenance on equipment Interpret the alarm conditions on the network and implement repairs and restoration plans to ensure minimal service disruption and impact to the customer. Pickup/Deliver supplies, tools, equipment, cabinets, batteries, etc., via company vehicle (towing trailer if applicable) Responsible for the upkeep of all company-issued tools and equipment Maintains and submits complete and accurate files/logs/pictures/reports as determined by management Develops and maintains a positive company image, both internally with fellow employees and with customers/suppliers Provides superior customer service, ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner Adhere to all driving requirements as determined by State and Federal regulations Adhere to all Company and industry (i.e., OSHA) standards/regulations Maintain company vehicle clean and presentable at all times Other duties as assigned The Qualities You Possess: Setting high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks; self-imposing standards of excellence rather than having standards imposed. The Skills and Background You'll Bring: Experience with and the ability to perform elevated work with a 50 lb. load Experience with and the ability to work on a ladder or bucket truck Experience with new site construction required including all civil work portions Experience with calling in and completing Municipal inspections and communicating with inspectors Experience operating heavy equipment including but not limited to Skid-steer, mini-excavator, skip loader, Gannon, dump trucks/trailers Experience using laser levels and setting elevations based off blueprints Experience with excavation and trenching, underground conduit installation Experience with building concrete forms, rebar installation, pouring concrete, finishing concrete Experience installing grounding rings for towers and sites Experience installing concrete wall footings including rebar per plans Experience creating materials lists for job sites Experience using various hand and power tools Computer efficient with experience using the Microsoft Suite of programs including Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook as well as PDF such as Adobe Ability to email Daily Field Reports including photos of site work progress Ability to upload site photos to company database Ability to keep crew members on task and complete the required job tasks for the day. Ability to work well with others and train crew members as needed Able to crouch, kneel, and twist throughout the workday Able to reach, grasp and climb with both hands Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and drive or ride in a truck for long periods of time 100% travel required at times. Must be able to travel outside of local market and any state across the U.S., possibly for weeks at a time but typically will come home for the weekends if the job permits. Flexible to work long shifts and potentially weekends as needed Must have a valid driver's license with an MVR record that classifies you as insurable if required to drive and the ability to drive long distances on and off road and to tow trailers CDL is a plus Must be 21 years of age or older if required to drive Must be able to become DOT certified if designated as an eligible driver for the Company Must be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) and background check Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, regulations, instruction manuals, blueprints, and specifications Local to the market Periodic air travel will be required Good oral and written communications skills and the ability to speak, write and read English Strong leadership, reporting skills to team and market leads and ability to lead a team a must Must be able to accurately track crew member hours on a daily/weekly basis and submit time for management approval in a timely manner 5+ years of experience on wireless telecommunication sites and civil SOW OSHA Safety standards certification is preferred (will provide training) Disclaimer: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees within this classification.
