We are looking for a Revenue Enablement Specialist to assist in the growth and scale of the Affirm merchant experience. In the Merchant Engagement and Communications role, you will work cross functionally to help manage the merchant communication lifecycle from a strategic, programmatic, and operational perspective. This role will act as the centralized hub for B2B merchant communication driving strategy and coordination, helping us further grow and maintain our merchant network by effectively engaging with prospective and existing merchants.
The ideal candidate is a specialist in email strategy/optimization, tactical execution and problem-solving, has a strategic vision, and can understand how to tackle everyday business needs. We are also looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who can communicate across all levels in the organization and provide mentorship and knowledge to new team members and other cross-functional partners.
What You’ll Do
Oversee communications sent to merchants at all stages of the merchant lifecycle and journey working closely with cross functional teams responsible for automated Pardot email execution encompassing transactional, lifecycle, and thought leadership messaging.
Establish a holistic strategy and calendar for ongoing merchant communications.
Work with the appropriate teams to establish and execute advanced/multimedia merchant engagement materials e.g., newsletters, webinars, blog posts, etc.
Work closely with marketing operations and Pardot experts to identify issues before others; collaborate to fix issues when they arise; recommend new ways to optimize and improve the process; and document, measure, and train others on new processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand company-wide communication, marketing, and sales objectives and support with comms best practices, recommended automation and Pardot campaigns when needed
Partner with Enterprise Applications (IT) and Business Systems to identify, implement, execute, and enable respective teams with tools & technology to support merchant engagement and lifecycle communications.
Consistently and proactively develop, document, and optimize existing email drips and net new one-off campaigns, and automate where appropriate.
Document and communicate across the organization standard methodologies for merchant engagement and communication processes.
What We Look For:
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of merchant engagement or B2B marketing operations experience
Basic understanding of systems like Pardot, Marketo, and Salesforce
Automation, sales operations and/or analytics background is a plus
Detailed, independent, positive, and results-oriented with the ability to pivot and prioritize goals based on business needs
Experience with project management software (JIRA, Asana, etc.)
Excellent communication and project management skills
Strong quantitative focus and understands how to collect and cascade data appropriately to drive growth and impact
Familiar with or able to learn business application systems quickly
Can develop and execute a plan based on findings

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year:
Min: $105,600
Mid: $126,700
Max: $147,800
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year:
Min: $95,000
Mid: $114,000
Max: $133,100
