Responsibilities
• Participate in marketing and business development activities• Research, develop, and design a variety of equipment and systems• Manage and assist with work on all phases of mechanical engineering projects• Provide project team coordination• Prepare detailed plans and specifications• Use computer-assisted engineering and design software• Maintain effective communication with project team members and clients• Participate in planning, cost development and management• Perform routine aspects of mechanical engineering• Demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering• Licensed Engineer (PE), preferably in Tennessee• Minimum of seven years' experience as a mechanical engineer• HVAC systems design experience• LEED Accreditation is preferred• Strong organizational and time management skills• Proficient in Revit, CAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel• Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and techniques• Knowledge of building materials, construction methods, codes, and regulations
