This position will be responsible for managing the inventories of the parts warehouses for the Warrenton Plant Site. This position will be under the leadership & direction of the Purchasing Manager, and will be located in the plant warehouse with responsibilities of maintaining supplies in the warehouse. Successful applicant will be required to know or learn parts descriptions and machine centers. Main goal of Material Coordinator is to support our maintenance teams, and assist with getting the operation to 95% Operational Readiness, with focus on replenishment of parts & supplies taken out of the warehouse, as well as receiving parts and supplies, delivery of parts to assigned points in the plant site, and warehouse management & organization.

Will be responsible for maintaining safe, clean & organized parts warehouses. Responsible to Purchase, Receive & Re-Stock the warehouse. Ensuring critical spares are re-ordered & re-stocked at agreed to levels. Deliver parts on a daily basis to designated delivery points around the plant site. Maintaining inventory database for Motor/Gearhead inventory and warehouse inventories. Assist internal customers with locating items in the warehouse. Monitor & manage stocking levels and perform cycle counts for accuracy for all items in warehouses. Attain a thorough working knowledge of the mechanical operations of the plant site. Properly package, label and ship out items to be repaired. Follow and comply with all Company safety, and environmental rules and policies. Must be willing to attend any training necessary to upgrade performance. Will work overtime as necessary to meet the needs of the department and the plant. Will perform all tasks that are required by the Manager. Knowledge in the operation & maintenance of warehouse & inventory controls. Knowledge of repair parts & operating supplies used in a sawmill environment a plus. Must be proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and knowledge of Spendmap a plus. Must be proficient in Docuware. Must possess high organizational skills and attention to detail. Must be a good communicator both written and verbal. Must be comfortable communicating and dealing with outside vendors and internal customers. Must be able to prioritize tasks and be self-motivated. Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and productive manner-Must be PIT certified or attain certification. Must have a valid Oregon Driver's License. High school diploma or equivalent.
