So, were hiring for a Market Conduct Analyst within our Corporate Compliance team to lead, coordinate, and support the market conduct examination and data call processes to meet the requirements associated with regulatory demands, inquiries, and actions.
WHAT YOULL DO
Serve as Sentrys representative on all market conduct and enterprise wide examinations, handling all aspects of the process; this includes: distributing, gathering, and scrubbing all requested information from business units, answering questions throughout the process from various internal and external contacts, and drafting and submitting timely and accurate company resources
Coordinate with business units to draft responses to criticisms and questions outlined in the preliminary exam report; receive final results and inform the business of the results and ensure appropriate penalties are issued. Then, collaborate with the business unit to resolve criticisms and respond to regulators
Review and understand applicable regulations to business practices ensuring regulatory responses and exams are timely and accurate
Analyze exam metrics and compile reports to show findings and trends (ie costs, business turnover time, etc). Present findings to business area leadership
Conduct market conduct research, identifying regulators focus areas and recognizing consistent industry criticisms to ensure business units are prepared for exams and process adjustments are made as necessary
Develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with insurance regulators and examiners
Participate in projects with compliance team and business units to improve the organization practices based upon regulator feedback
WHAT IT TAKES
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience.
5 : 8 years of related work experience.
Organizational skills to coordinate, request, and analyze information
Proficient skill level in Excel, Business Objects or similar Business Intelligence tools
Strong oral and written communication skills
Analytical and research skills
Ability to meet minimal travel requirements
