??About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Material Planning Manager to help support our growing material requirements for our compounding operations. You will leverage your problem-solving abilities, motivation, and experience to drive efficiency while scaling up our inventory planning practices and team members appropriately to support our sales. We are looking for a self-starter that will drive process improvement by building out tools and metrics to support the material planning team.You Will:Set and maintain target inventory levels for the non sellable categories based on demand and lead time variabilityCreate processes to streamline current material planning and packaging day to day activities Work with sourcing on new materials as needed to maintain operational efficiencyUnderstand capacity constraints and storage requirements and provide forward looking visibility of upcoming concerns based on projected usageCreate buying recommendations for raw materials and packaging based on forward-looking production projectionsDrive accountability to cross functional partners in demand planning and production planningArticulate, document and action all risks resulting from material shortages/overages and communicate out to operations leadershipManage and build out a team of planners appropriately as the business scalesDevelop and document business requirements as necessary to support technical builds and enhancementsYou Have:Bachelors in supply chain or related8+ years experience in at least 2 of the following: Production planning, Supply planning, Material planningExpert in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions3-5 years experience in a supervisory role with at least 3 direct reportsAdvanced Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations – Lookups, PivotTables, External Data ConnectionsBasic SQL and/or Python experience is a plusStrong written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate in a clear and concise mannerAbility to think through complex problems and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple prioritiesDetail-oriented and exceptionally organizedDemonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisionsOur Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time rolesUnlimited PTO, company holidays, and quarterly mental health daysComprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leaveEmployee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)Employee discounts on hims & hers & Apostrophe online products401k benefits with employer matching contributionOffsite team retreats
