Responsibilities
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and review performance of direct reports• Develop staffing schedules and process improvement initiatives• Communicate with various customers of the KTC• Update and maintain Transportation Management Systems• Regularly report performance of the KTC
Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years experience in a logistics environment• Ability to lead and coach others• Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays regularly• Ability to travel independently up to 25%• General knowledge of financial or statistical concepts• Ability to resolve complex issues in a changing environment• Proficient in Microsoft office programs• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience desired• 2+ years of experience in KTC Operations or similar• Proven ability to lead, train, and motivate a team• Experience in project management or supervisory role• Proficiency with TMS and Routing Systems, Procurement and Web applications• Advanced knowledge of buyer/procurement practices and supplier relationships• Advanced knowledge of carrier, store, and warehouse operations• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
