Job Description Responsible for the creation, implementation, enhancement, and validation of automated functional test cases for the Comcast Identity Management Architecture (CIMA) platform.
Works with CIMA team members and product stakeholders to identify test strategies, scenarios, and test plans.
Performs automated and manual testing of CIMA applications and services across all environments.
Ensures that enhancements and changes to the platform are fully tested prior to Production deployment.
Ensures that existing functionality is fully regression tested.
Monitors test automation results across all environments, and alerts the team regarding significant changes.
Core Responsibilities * Implements test automation for regression and progression scenarios that allow for a repeatable and reliable testing framework * Identifies and documents defects in the upper and lower environments, and drives them to resolution * Reviews test automation code written by other team members * Follows the team's best practices and coding standards * Monitors emerging test automation frameworks, trends, technologies, and best practices for potential use by the team * Performs ondemand and ad hoc manual/automated testing as needed * Requests and prepares test data for the upper and lower environments to support the implementation of test scenarios * Validates Production deployment changes and reports on issues found * Reports out on automated test results on a daily basis * Tracks and documents the test case coverage of new features and existing functionality * Updates the test case coverage as new features are added to the platform * Performs manual testing of platform features that cannot be tested in an automated fashion * Interfaces with members of the CIMA team to ensure that test scenarios are appropriate and test coverage is complete * Mentors junior team members regarding test automation approaches and best practices * Ability to work independently with little direction, in a teamoriented, results-driven environment * Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary * Other duties and responsibilities as assigned * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Education Level
