As a Cybersecurity Systems Engineer - (Jr-Mid Level) with MTSI you will perform various technical assessment tasks on aeronautical and aerospace related systems. This position will initially be located in Alexandria VA at MTSI's HQ, but within 6 months will relocate to a Washington DC area.Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
Test various interfaces or sub-components of aeronautical and aerospace related systems.
Tracing data flow.
Apply cyber analytical methods and processes.
Performs general technical decomposition, analysis, and impact assessments with supporting documentation creation with the focus of cyber system vulnerabilities applied to air systems by Experimenting with different attack techniques against critical points, developing mitigations to prevent future attacks on the specific architecture of a given system.
Complete verification, validation analysis and documentation of system interfaces or sub-components of aeronautical and aerospace systems.
Conduct operational and system data flow analysis and documentation for venerability assessments.
Applies of basic cyber methodologies. Applies different attack techniques against critical points, and developing mitigations to prevent attacks on the specific architecture of aeronautical and aerospace systems.
Incorporation of core engineering skills and knowledge from their academic focus area and applies it to the cyber systems team to advance the campaign initiatives
Creation of tools to support efforts as applicable.
1-5 years of relevant work experience.
Minimum Educational Requirements:
STEM related degree by the end of 2020.
Focus of Software, Hardware or Cyber Engineering and an interest or experience in software reverse engineering, or hardware reverse engineering.
Security + certificate
