Gulf Coast Emergency Veterinary Clinic is seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Our state-of-the-art facility is furnished with the latest technology and equipment to care for everything from minor to severe emergencies. We have four exam rooms, an on-site blood bank, and a fully stocked pharmacy to evaluate and deliver emergency treatment. Our surgical suite is equipped with continuous critical care monitoring to observe every case with which we are faced. We have in-house radiology, lab analysis, and ultrasound. No matter how big or small the patient and their needs are, we continuously strive to set and deliver a high standard of compassionate care.

Job Description Job duties include, but are not limited to: Responsibilities: Perform general cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of rooms, common areas, walls, windows and offices. Daily cleaning of two onsite bedrooms including laundering and changing linens. Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and showers. Empty and dispose of trash and waste materials. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness is maintained in all areas. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the supervisor. Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures. Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Requirements: Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks Must be able to lift 40lbs. + Client needs and work volume may occasionally require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job. This position may require special working hours, including working weekends, evenings and/or holidays.
+ Must have mental capacity and processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
+ The noise level in the work environment is moderately high. Ear plugs will be available upon request.
+ Job requires sufficient ambulatory skills in order to perform required duties while working.
+ Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
+ Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate other equipment as required.
+ Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
