Inside Sales Account Director
We are seeking an enthusiastic Inside Sales Account Director to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be professional, goal-oriented, a team player, and self-motivated. They should possess strong multitasking abilities and excel at managing multiple accounts while fostering meaningful relationships with customers. As an Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing business opportunities by strategically engaging with the district-level customer base within a specified public sector region.
Location: Remote position within the state of Connecticut (CT).
Responsibilities:
Cultivate strong, enduring relationships between major districts and our organization.
Conduct outbound phone sales to develop a robust book of business within a defined territory.
Employ proven sales strategies to prospect and identify new opportunities effectively.
Develop growth plans tailored to existing customers' needs.
Gain a deep understanding of our product value in the education market, focusing on preK-8.
Exceed daily activity expectations and performance metrics.
Strive to surpass monthly sales goals and inspire team members to do the same.
Prepare quotes and bids as necessary, and negotiate contracts with clients.
Engage in strategic planning to enhance client outcomes.
Develop comprehensive insights into district-level requirements.
Requirements:
2-3 years of inside sales experience, with a proficiency in cold calling and relationship building over the phone.
Demonstrated success in selling at the school district level within the educational market (1-2 years).
Enjoy collaborating with sales teams to maximize profitability through upselling or cross-selling.
Ability to plan and present reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives.
High energy, self-motivated, enthusiastic, dynamic, goal-oriented, and success-driven attitude.
