Roles and Responsibilities: Benefit Support: Dive into the world of benefits, assisting employees with enrollment, changes, and questions . Leaves of Absence: Provide support and administration from beginning to end with empathy and efficiency. Training Program: Supports the development, coordination, tracking, planning, and scheduling of employee training Worker's Compensation: Navigate the world of worker's compensation, handling claims and ensuring team members get the support they need. Employee File Maintenance: Keep our HR records in top shape, maintaining accuracy and organization Projects: Dive into exciting HR projects, from diversity initiatives to talent development programs. HRIS: Maintains records, compiles reports , leveraging data to drive insights and inform decisions. Recruiting: Posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, follow-up with candidates, disposition candidates appropriately, and job description maintenance. Onboarding : Reference checks, background checks, professional certification verifications, scheduling pre-employment requirements, new hire packages, orientation, and file maintenance. Terminations: Completes termination packages and processes termination of benefits Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, providing guidance and support to maintain compliance across all HR functions. Wellness Program: Get involved in promoting employee well-being, from wellness challenges to mindfulness workshops. Participate in developing human resource goals and objectives. Assist employees with questions or concerns Performs other related duties as required and assigned Requirements: Associate degree or equivalent experience. 3 years of hands-on experience in HR Coordination: We're seeking someone with a solid background in HR coordination, ready to hit the ground running and make an impact from day one. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality: Confidentiality is key in HR, and we're looking for someone who takes this responsibility seriously. Proficiency in PC applications (MS Office Suite): From spreadsheets to presentations, you'll need to be a wizard with Microsoft Office to excel in this role. Strong aptitude for numbers and multitasking: Juggling multiple tasks while keeping an eye on the numbers? That's your jam, and we want someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with HR principles and HRIS databases: You'll need a solid foundation in HR practices and the ability to navigate HRIS databases with ease. Ability to work independently and as part of a team: Whether you're flying solo or collaborating with colleagues, you'll always deliver top-notch customer service with a smile. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills: Building relationships is your superpower, and you know how to connect with people at all levels of the organization. Results-oriented with impeccable time management: Deadlines don't scare you – you thrive under pressure and always deliver results on time, every time. Keen attention to detail with problem-solving skills: You're the Sherlock Holmes of HR, spotting issues before they arise and coming up with creative solutions on the fly. Clear and effective communication skills: You excel at conveying information concisely, ensuring that messages are communicated clearly and accurately.
