Position:Shuttle Driver (Part Time & Full Time available)
Reports to:Guest Service Manager (GSM)
Rate:$16/hr + tips + bonuses + benefits
Summary of Position:Under the general guidance of the Guest Service Manager, provide excellent service to guests throughout their stay. Transport guests to and from their destination by providing professional service. Share information about hotel amenities and make recommendations about the surrounding area.
Requirements:

25 years of age or older
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of (6) month?s customer service experience
Valid and clean CA driver license
Ability to lift 50 pounds

General Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles over specified routes to specified destinations according to schedule.
Act as Lobby Lizard to greet guests and conversate as they wait to check in and/or have any questions
Comply with traffic regulations to ensure passengers have a smooth and safe ride.
Safely and securely handle guest luggage.
Assist special needs passengers (i.e. accessible or elderly guests) on and off the shuttle to ensure they are seated properly.
Answer questions about shuttle schedules or routes.
Maintain the hotel shuttle; gas, oil, and cleanliness.
Maintain Daily Shuttle Run log.
Clean and maintain all corridors and public areas in accordance with all housekeeping procedures and standards and safety and security rules regulations to ensure guest satisfaction.
Stock linen and supply closet to ensure par inventories.
Report any missing/found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the Facilities Supervisor
Deliver guest request items.
Performed Laundry Attendant duties as needed.
Remove all trash from the hotel.
Clean guest room carpet with carpet extractor and appropriate machines.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Perform other duties as needed and requested by management

Primary Functions:
Punctuality:
Ensure shuttle schedule is followed with detail and punctuality.
Maintain efficiency by properly planning out routes and trips to ensure no guest has to wait an excessive amount of time for our shuttle service.

Customer Service:
Greet all guests with a smile and provide exceptional customer service to all through conversation, assistance, and problem-solving. Assist guests with luggage, entering/exiting the shuttle, and providing recommendations in the local area
Assist with Front Desk responsibilities. Check in/Check out of guest and answering phone calls.

Safety:
Ensure a safe and pleasant ride for all guests by complying with all traffic regulations, ensuring passengers are properly seated and using seat belts.
Knowledgeable in all hotel emergency procedures such as an earthquake, fire, bomb threat, medical, homicide, drowning, disturbance, chemical spill, and evacuation procedures.
Understanding all hotel Safety procedures such as proper lifting, ladder safety, first aid, eye protection, and chemical safety.

Specific Responsibilities:
Visually inspect shuttle before and after each shift. Check for functioning signals lights, headlights, brake lights, dents, and scratches.
Keeping the shuttle clean at all times inside and out.
Regulate heating, lighting, and ventilating systems for passenger comfort.
Clean lobby by sweeping, dusting, scrubbing or vacuuming.
Vacuum and dust all hotel corridors.
Remove trash and dirty linen from room attendant carts. Transport all dirty linen to the laundry room for Laundry Attendant.
Removing trash from all areas.
Spot cleaning walls, carpet, light fixtures, furniture, hallways, fitness center, guest laundry area, and vending area.
Pick up debris from the parking lot and landscapes areas throughout the day. Morning, after lunch and before the end of the shift.
Keep dumpster area clean and orderly.
Assist guest with luggage to guest rooms when needed.
Deliver guest amenities as requested.
Property walk to ensure the safety and security for guest and Associates
Respond in a prompt and courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints or request.
Inform management of any unique situations, or unusual developments at the hotel.
Promote goodwill by being courteous, friendly, and helpful to guests, managers, and all other associates.
