High Voltage Electrical Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Electrical design, development, installation, and commissioning of electrical for major programs.Own electrical systems design (substations, power distribution systems, fire alarm, building management systems, etc.) to ensure interruption free service to operations.Perform Electrical Engineering, Design & Calculations —as required.Perform Project Management, Manage, coordinate Facilities Systems installations for major programs.Review and manage line layout and concepts for electrical scope.ensure electrical equipment meets and maintains USA plant/company safety guidelines.assist in coordination of new project analysis and vendor review.Assist in contractor quote review and scope analysis.Supports interface with multiple business units to maintain electrical reliability and reduce maintenance cost support start-up and proper handover of Facilities electrical Systems to the plant team.Provide daily and strategic engineering oversight to the Operations team in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and systems when operations begin.Recommend and implement engineering changes to accommodate customer requirements on owned systems.High voltage power expertiseRequired Qualifications: Preferred- Degree in Electrical Engineering - specialization on building systems.Five (5) years experience in Electrical facilities support in a complex manufacturing facility with clean/dry room environmentsunderstanding of electrical design and ability to assist in line change solutions. (nice to have) clear understanding of battery assembly & manufacturing processes
