You'll have the opportunity to work in a dynamic educational environment surrounded by natural beauty and dedicated colleagues.Pay Range: $29-$32/hourResponsibilities would consist of:Performing routine grounds maintenance tasks to uphold the beauty and functionality of our campus. Collaborating with our Grounds team on pruning, gardening, mowing, minor repairs, integrated pest control, waste removal, and reporting. Operating and maintaining a variety of landscape equipment, from tractors and mowers to snow removal tools and golf carts. Monitoring irrigation schedules and assist in maintaining irrigation systems. Ensuring safety and cleanliness by clearing hard surfaces in all weather conditions, including snow and ice.Qualifications:Demonstrated expertise in commercial or institutional landscaping, with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience.Advanced expertise in lawn, shrub and tree care.Proficient in operation of all of the following equipment: tractors, cultivators, edgers, power mowers, pruners, and other equipment used in grounds maintenanceAbility to use hand tools required for landscapingMust possess a valid Oregon Drivers License and have safe driving record to meet school standardsPlease visit for more information about Catlin Gabel School and hiring process.We strongly encourage applications from people of color, LGBTQ candidates or candidates from communities that are historically underrepresented in independent schools.
