Goldstrike - Open Pit Driller

Position Description:Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller to join our Goldstrike Operations team.Responsibilities:Reporting to the Open Pit Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following:Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individualsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Previous Surface Drilling/Blasting experiencepreferredValid Nevada drivers' licenserequiredHeavy equipment operating experiencepreferredAbility to carry at least 50 poundsrequiredExcellent verbal, written, and radio communication skillsrequiredDemonstrated ability to work as part of a teamrequiredSatisfactory safety, performance, and attendance recordsrequiredThe ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
