Job summary
Food Safety and Quality Supervisor - 2nd Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)Assure product safety and meet quality standards in a manufacturing facilityOpportunity for career growth with a well-established food company
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Assure compliance to all areas of manufacturing• Develop and maintain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points Program• Approve raw materials and monitor packaging containers• Coordinate with management in areas of safety and discipline• Coordinate training in HACCP and other regulations• Monitor sanitation inspections and ensure follow-up• Monitor programs for incoming raw ingredients• Implement and monitor programs to ensure finished good specifications• Supervise testing procedures and maintain test records• Assist in new product development and resolution of customer complaints• Develop and write FSQ policies and procedures• Audit plant compliance to regulatory standards• Supervise, train, and develop subordinates
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent• 5-7 years related experience• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Windows Suite• HACCP Certification preferred• Knowledge of math, chemistry, statistical process control, and microbiology• Ability to interpret documents and write reports• Problem-solving and effective communication skills• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing• Supervisory experience
