We are seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team and maintain our fleet of vehicles. As a Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles including trucks, vans, and specialized equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent diagnostic skills, and commitment to ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on fleet vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns. Complete repair orders in a timely manner and maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs. Collaborate with the Fleet Manager to prioritize repairs and ensure vehicles are safe and operational. Follow safety procedures and guidelines while working in the shop when perfrorming road tests. Assist with the installation of vehicles accessories and modifications as needed. maintain a clean and organized work environment. Other duties as assigned. Requirements :
High school diploma or equivalent. 4 ASE Certifications. Proven experience as a Fleet Mechanic or similar role, with expertise in diesel and gasoline engines. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
