Collaborating with key partners in the Commercial Organization to improve business results by recognizing key levers and making fact based recommendations to improve category volume and profit.

Leading monthly performance reviews, analyzing category and customer P&L’s and recognizing/explaining performance drivers

Working with other Finance Leads to improve financial operating capability and understanding of profit movement including cost of goods sold, resupply or plant sourcing changes

Mine data from multiple systems while working with cross-functional teams to analyze category and customer level profitability and P&L’s.

Support Product Managers when reviewing and analyzing competitive landscape and identify opportunities to drive category growth.

Identify and tag innovation items so that targets can be established and actuals measured

Create/present new or pro-forma P&L’s for existing/potential Copack customers or licensing agreements. Ability to identify key inputs, assumptions and scenarios necessary to make decisions

Developing and running discounted cash flow financial models for evaluating capital investments for strategic business cases for over $100MM. Ability to review manufacturing costs, customer pricing and pro-forma financial statements when making decisions on investments.

Develop capital cases that will enable the organization to make decisions on expanding current capacity or investing in new capabilities. Make recommendations and analyzing cash flow, pay back and ROI.

Supporting the annual financial budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long term strategic growth plan process of 2.3B pounds and $2.1B in revenue.

Actively working with Sales and Product Managers who have business opportunities to improve profit or volume mix management.

Create pro-forma economics for large customer bids, provide analytical guidance and complete post audits on awarded business volume and profit

Analyzing, researching, and implementing best practices as appropriate to support ongoing process improvement.

Leading other ad-hoc analyses as needed to support the growth and development of the business.

Education – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. An advanced degree in business is desired.

Experience – A minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a financial role requiring extensive analysis. Experience in a fast-paced consumer products, manufacturing, food service, or consultancy environment is a plus
