Under general supervision is responsible for a number of tasks associated with the operation, rig-up / down of equipment & tools and related equipment in the shop, yard, or location
Perform duties which may involve some technical elements but primarily focused on installation, inspection, and repairing of Oilfield Pumping Units
Play a role in hands-on and directly manipulate equipment, machinery or systems requiring precise instrumentation / operation
Trained in operating more than one type of equipment or combinations of equipment / processes
Ability to safely deploy to remote geographic assignment locations with limited access to medical care, which may require 4 hours (or more) travel time to reach secondary level medical care
Ability to alternate methods of completing tasks if the set method is not viable and stay within HS&E guidelines.
Must have ability to communicate with various clients and must have an ability to quickly adjust to changing job assignments/requirements and have the flexibility to work overtime with little or no advanced notice.
Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 6+ months of previous experience as a field operator or oil and gas field experience or equivalent experience (ranch hand, warehouse experience, construction, driving experience or a role involving physical and manual labor).
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work overtime and complete jobs as required.
Ability to work and communicate well with customers and employees.
Ability to utilized computers for communication, reporting and other work-related purposes.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Experience in field service repair or oil field repair
Previous extensive experience with the Artificial Lift product line
Class A CDL
