Responsibilities
• Coordinate all aspects of events, from initial planning to execution• Act as a liaison between customer and hotel sales person• Solve problems and suggest alternatives during events• Serve group and catering customers in a proactive manner• Work with logistics of group room blocks, food and beverage, meeting space, and billing processes• Ensure guests have an unforgettable experience
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel sales experience• 1-year food and beverage experience• Strong understanding of contract negotiation and interpretation• Developed business communication skills• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office• Present a professional appearance and confidence• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure• Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems• Experience with Delphi• Experience with Opera
