Position Summary and Responsibilities
Manage all Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical testing for Prototype & Cable Development portion of Engineering Department
Support Production with Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical testing for high frequency and complex assemblies.
Set-up and program test equipment for unattended testing and data recording
Compile test results and create informal or formal Test Reports
Assist in Forensic Testing to determine cause of failures
Manage Laboratory equipment – Calibration & Condition – Including involvement with repairs or replacement
Work with Engineering Team to manage and schedule priorities
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to organize data and manage priorities in a team environment
Experience with performing Electrical, Environmental, and Mechanical testing for simple and complex assemblies
Experience with Network Analyzer in the GHz frequencies
Expertise in Excel, Vee-Pro, MATLAB, or similar software
Beneficial Experience:
Experience with MIL-STD-1344, MIL-STD-202, EIA-364, DO-160, or similar test standards
Experience with testing RF products to 100 GHz or higher
Experience with mechanical testing: Durability, Shock, Vibration, etc.
Experience with environmental testing: Humidity, Thermal Shock, Thermal Cycling, etc.
Experience with Digital Oscilloscopes & Eye Diagrams
