Position Summary: Backbone of day-to-day sanitation and organization of kitchen and FOH

Primary Responsibilities:

- Wash all dirty dishes and return them to their proper place
- Sweep and mop floors in FOH and BOH
- Daily deep clean of all bathrooms

Organization, Cleanliness & Systems:

- Check sanitizer buckets, gloves, rags and be health inspection ready
- Ensure dishes, pots, pans, and utensils are stored in proper place
- Help handle trash, recycling, and cardboard boxes at end of shift
- Follow policies and procedures as described in employee handbook, including dress code, punctuality, and professional attitude
- Cleanliness and sanitation always meeting health code requirements
- Needs and issues always communicated
- Checklists MUST be completed every shift
- Preserve and embrace company culture in and outside workplace
- Communication:

- Provide ongoing feedback to Chef and kitchen management regarding sanitation, organization, inventory, and staff issues
- Attend monthly All-Staff meetings
- Six month check-ins with Chef and Kitchen management

Resumen del trabajo: Ser el pilar de las prcticas cotidianas de saneamiento y organizacin en la cocina.

Las responsabilidades principales:

- Lavar los platos y ponerlos en sus propios lugares
- barrer y fregar los pisos
- limpiar los baos cada da

La organizacin, la limpieza y las sistemas:

- asegurar que todo est listo para una inspeccin sanitaria; contenedores de desinfectante, guantes, trapos, etc
- ver que todos los platos estn en sus propios lugares
- ayudar con la basura, reciclaje, y las cajas de cartn al final del turno

Comunicacin:

- dar comentarios al Chef y los gerentes de la cocina sobre la sanitaria, la organizacin, el inventario, y los cuestiones de los empleados de la cocina
- asistir reuniones de personal mensuales
- recibir una revisa cada seis meses con el Chef y los gerentes de la cocina

Puntos de evaluacin:

- revistas y comentarios buenos del Chef, los otros cocineros, los camareros, y los huspedes acerca de la limpieza y eficacia
- comentarios de sus compaeros de trabajo sobre sus sistemas de organizacin, limpieza, y su contribucin a una cultura positiva
- clasificacin de sanitaria en la cocina
