Job Description

Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently recruiting a Director of Sales and Customer Service who will infuse the Sales and Customer Service Team with their talent, energy and leadership skills. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a corporate culture that is known for its innovative and growth-oriented vision. Responsibilities include:

1) Be the primary contact person at company for all customers
2) Obtain and maintain an accurate up-to-date forecast of customers' new product demands
3) Communicate any changes first to the key Account Manager at company and then immediately internally to Purchasing and Production teams
4) Obtain and enter into SAP customer purchase orders as soon as they are issued to the company
5) Manage product assortment offered by the company to its customers
6) Communicate all aspects of product and service quality to customers in close coordination with the Director of Quality
7) Coordinate all customer labeling and packaging requirements
8) Work closely with the Key Account Manager and customer service
9) Produce and maintain daily, weekly and monthly internal reports
10) Meet with the Vice President of Operations regularly to discuss customers' issues
11) Assist in setting the priorities for the Production Department based on all customers’ particular requirements
12) Monitor all outgoing invoices to ensure accuracy
13) Review the accounts receivable report to ensure that payment terms are met by customers
14) Review inventory target levels of key customers and alert the Production Team if target levels are not met
15) Follow up on customers' questions, concerns and requirements
16) Oversee creation of company’s sales orders in SAP for all customers
17) Communicate customers' issues with CEO and Key Account Manager
18) Review quality standards internally in management quality meetings and externally by standards set by customers
19) Act as a Supervisor to the Customer Service Representative
20) Create the annual and quarterly sales planning of the company

Critical Requirements

1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
2) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales and customer service management
