Full job description Summary
The North American Financial Director is part of the Couplings Division within the Industrial Powertrain Solution (IPS) Segment and will be based out of Regal Rexnord's headquarters in Milwaukee, WI. This role is responsible for financial management and controlling at our seven entities situated throughout North America, along with being a key partner to the operational teams. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Operations for the region with a dotted line to the Senior Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Financial responsibility for regional sub-consolidation. Manage and oversee financial team consisting of Plant Controllers and FP&A Analysts. Summarize and present financial results and key sales and cost drivers as required. Lead variance analysis to key benchmarks (budget, forecast, prior year, etc.) and clearly communicate key assumptions/inputs to plant leadership to ensure achievement of performance objectives. Provide educated, insightful commentary to Leadership at the end of the period. Develop and deploy key operational metrics and analysis to support daily management of the business while proactively managing costs and working capital to drive sustainable improvement. Make assessments and recommendations based on regular review/analysis to site leadership. Partner with operations to support make/buy decisions, capital investments, inventory management, ad hoc analysis, and other needs. Lead Sector level inventory standard costing and margin analysis activities, including managing the annual standards roll. Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis/special projects to assist team in understanding business performance & offer solutions to improve performance. Partnering with Central Accounting group to manage and maintain an effective controls environment. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree or CPA designation preferred. Minimum of 8+ years' experience in Finance including in Industrial or Global Manufacturing. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications with expert Excel skills. Experience with OneStream, Hyperion (HFM), Oracle and/or SAP. Travel up to 25%.
