Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures by providing chairside support. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials needed for dental procedures. Take and process dental X-rays. Record patient medical history and treatment information in electronic health records. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care. Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment. Qualifications: Completion of an accredited dental assistant program. Current Dental Assistant certification in the state of South Dakota. X-ray certification preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare setting. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience. Familiarity with electronic health records. Experience with pediatric and general dentistry is a plus.
