Responsibilities
• Shadowing and monitoring assigned learner throughout the school day• Maintaining documentation of learner's activities• Providing care, including diaper changing/toileting• Adapting behavior to meet learner's IEP requirements• Providing feedback to coaches and team members• Working under the direction of the special education coach• Supporting learner's communication and safety• Participating in meetings and implementing lesson plans• Demonstrating clear and professional boundaries• Adjusting behaviors and practices to accommodate learner's needs
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent certification• 2+ years experience working with young children in an urban setting• Comfortable with nonverbal learners and those with medical needs• Compassionate and positive attitude• Strong interpersonal and communication skills• Basic fluency with technology and digital tools
