Courtesy Officer / Concierge Position
Accepting applications for a reliablecourtesy officer / conciergeto work at the front desk of a luxury high-rise condominium. On a daily basis, this position is the first line of customer service that interacts with our residents and guests. Our resident?s satisfaction and safety depends on your friendliness and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will be a smart and trustworthy individual able to provide residents and guest with a warm greeting and handle all incoming requests. In addition, you will be responsible to protect the condominium and its residents by monitoring who comes in and out of our premises.
The goal is to contribute to an overall pleasant experience for all residents, guest and contractors.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for greeting, checking in and welcoming guests and residents
Assist with providing directions and monitoring contractors
Answer the phone, take and distribute messages or mail, and redirect calls
Act as the point of reference for guests and residents, understanding their needs, and provide them with personalized solutions
Assist in managing the ?master calendar? to schedule events, contractor visits, moving days, and deliveries
Uphold and enforce the bylaws and covenants of the association
Respond to complaints and assist in finding the appropriate solution
Write reports on daily activities and incidents in a concise manner
Utilize a CCTV camera and security system to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, gates and parking lots
Patrol property, answer alarms and investigate disturbances when needed
Coordinate with all Emergency, Police and Fire departments when needed

Requirements to be successful in this position:
Outstanding guest service, excellent verbal & written communication skills
Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Must possess a professional presentation
Highly responsible and reliable, strong time-management
Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation
Ability to work well under pressure and occasionally multitask
Ability to perform routine checks throughout the property
Proficiency in English; multilingual is strongly preferred
Have the ability to walk / sit / stand for extended periods of time
Pass a criminal background screening and drug test
High school diploma
Previous experience as concierge; experience in customer service or relevant role is an advantage

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $10.50 to $12.50 /hour
Experience:
Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)
