Location: Various opportunities within the State of Washington
Job Requirements
Must have Wireless/Microwave industry experience working with Carriers T-Mobile/Verizon/Sprint/ATT

Positions are available in multiple regions through the State of Washington. Frequent travel as well as driving company-owned vehicles is required. As a part of our team, you must be dependable as well as motivated with strong installation, repair and maintenance skills related to this specific industry.
Specific qualifications include:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Four years or more of related tower and construction experience and/or training
Good communication skills, reading and writing skills (English)
Highly organized and be able to effectively report verbally and written reports back to the Operations Manager, CEO or designated management staff
Experience in managing employees ? hiring, terminating, completing performance reviews, allocating work, setting schedules, training, etc.
Excellent computer skills. advanced knowledge and use of Visio and Microsoft office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook) and project management software
Clean Driving Record & Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to accommodate out of town travel when required, in numerous States.

Working knowledge of basic hand tools, mechanical equipment, and electro-mechanical equipment.
Tower Climber Certified, RF Awareness Training, Certified Competent Person for Fall Arrest, Basic Electrical Training, First AID/CPR trained - and as of 10/2020, NWSA TT2 certified
Must have experience with both Guyed and Free- Standing towers, installing waveguide, antennas, mounts, radios, stiff arms, microwave dishes, cabling, etc.
RF Awareness, replacement and maintenance i.e. coax, jumpers, TMA?s, connectors and weatherproofing
Ability to lift/carry approx. 70 pounds (toolboxes, ladders, antennas, cabling, etc. to and from job site)
Ability to climb Monopole, Guyed, or Free-Standing towers up to 300 Feet

As a Tower Project & Field Manager you will be responsible managing a minimum of 1 subordinate supervisor (foreman) who will supervise a range of 1-20 employees in the Tower/Field Crews. This position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
This position will require supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing all Tower and Field work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your responsibility for ?each and every? project assigned to you will start ?immediately? when it is loaded into Field Point, or other CRM programs by the Contracts department, and immediately when a Trouble Ticket, or any other type Ticket has been assigned to you, and any tasks requested by the owners of the company or their designated person. Your responsibility will include the entire management of the project or task from the moment it has been loaded into Field Point, until it is successfully tested and turned over to the customer, or the project/task is deemed to be 100% completed.
Your duties shall be carried out by personally performing the following tasks, and through your efficient training/directing/supervising and following up with other staff, managers, and departments in the following areas which include, but are not limited to:
Professionally represent StarTouch, Inc. to all customers, vendors, officials, and co-workers

Deploy industry-specific, L&I and OSHA Safety protocols in cooperation with HR, Regional Safety Coordinators & Corporate Safety Manager

Knowledge and adherence to specific Tower Site owners? policies

Knowledge and adherence to StarTouch, Inc.?s company policies

Customer site-specific policies and regulations

Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times

Protocol for customer communication (maintenance windows, site-audits, schedule changes, etc.)

Adherence to required safety certifications and all ongoing training and related deadlines



Fiber splicing

RF awareness / use of RF Meter

Equipment configuration and maintenance

Adhering to vehicle maintenance standards in cooperation with Fleet Manager

Proper photo, electronic and paper documentation of work performed in FieldPoint

Performing end-user installs/uninstalls (residential and business locations)

Completed design packages as required for projects and tasks in a timely manner

Completed closeout packages as required for projects and tasks in a timely manner

Proper training for cable pulling/securing/winterizing/waterproofing/clamping/fittings/drip loops, etc.

Proper training for grounding, battery maintenance, generator maintenance, back-up battery use, etc.

Preparing and documenting equipment designated for end-user customer installs/uninstalls

Following proper inventory check-in/check-out procedures

Reading, interpreting, and building according to design site plans and layouts.
Coordinate submitting for, acquiring, and closing out permits.
Managing all data in company?s FieldPoint program
Attending Bid Walks to inspect work areas and determine type of work, materials, and equipment required to be used.
Conducting Site Surveys and writing proposals as necessary

Performing site visits and prepare accurate and complete field reports to document new and existing site conditions.

Studying specifications to plan procedures for project on basis of start and completion dates/times and staffing requirements for each phase of Project/Construction. Creating SOW according to site specifications, plans and requirements.

Complete the preparation and budgeting of fee and equipment proposals for new projects, including but not limited to bill of materials and budget worksheets

Performing engineering tasks and attending production meetings for the design of new tower deployments and/or customer premises deployments

Completing and/or facilitating the preparation of structural drawings, technical sheets and engineering documents for a variety of telecommunication applications

Documenting architectural drawings, specifications and design requirements for future reference with accuracy

Determining work force requirements and establishing production schedules to meet service loads. Estimating worker hour requirements for completion of each job assignment.
Initiating Job Work Orders for all Construction/Tower Project work.
Creating BOM?s and examining estimates of material, equipment, and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to insure completeness and accuracy.
Timely processing and reviewing of all paperwork generated from outside office (timesheets, reimbursement reports, lunch avoidance forms, JSA?s, production records, etc.) for accuracy, completeness, and details.
Initiating list of tools and materials to be ordered/delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Directing and coordinating testing and inspecting of equipment for operational performance.
Formulating and maintaining quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with job production procedures in cooperation with other Field Supervisors to maximize service reliability and minimize costs.
Requesting amendments to or extensions of Job service contracts (change orders).
Investigating and adjusting customer complaints regarding quality: confer with CEO/Operations Manager
Acting as liaison between StarTouch Inc., Field Personnel, Vendors and Customers.

Leading and communicating clearly with clients and company employees as to daily tasks performed on both the client site and in the office including the NOC, Contracts, dispatch, etc.

Operating equipment such as bucket trucks, man-lifts, Snow Cats, ATV?s, etc., and training workers in equipment operation for safety, accountability for cleanliness, maintenance, and security.
Interpreting job orders to workers, verify their understanding, and assigns duties.
Recommending measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Initiating or suggesting plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals
Conferring with supervisory personnel to resolve complaints and grievances within work force
