Communications Specialist

Job Description:

O'Reilly Automotive is seeking a motivated and resourceful Communications Specialist to join our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a part-time entry-level position, this role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the communications field and contribute to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:1. Assist in developing and implementing communication strategies to promote O'Reilly Automotive and its initiatives.2. Create engaging content for internal and external communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, social media, and website.3. Coordinate with various departments to gather information and content for communication materials.4. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.5. Support the planning and execution of events and campaigns to enhance brand awareness.6. Assist in maintaining media relationships and handling media inquiries.7. Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all communication channels.

Requirements:1. Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.4. Leadership skills to take charge of projects and initiatives.5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media platforms.6. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).7. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
