Job Description EducationDynamics is looking for a strategic, well-rounded marketer to increase awareness, generate inquiries, and motivate prospective students to apply and enroll in higher education programs. This person will work with cross-functional project teams to research, launch, manage and optimize social media, email marketing, and traditional (direct mail, event, PR) campaigns. They will also manage third-party marketing vendor campaigns and relationships and interface with higher ed clients as needed. The position is full time. The candidate who succeeds in this role will: Possess strong verbal and written communication skills Enjoy coordinating cross-functional projects with several moving parts Work efficiently and effectively in a remote environment with a bi-coastal team Have an eye for detail and a focus on quality control Excel at developing, following and regularly improving processes Ask thoughtful questions and be strategic when necessary Be quick to identify and evaluate opportunities outside of existing efforts Approach work creatively, while also using data-driven insights to improve performance Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Generate and implement social media strategies, including page/profile creation, posting calendar, and setting and maintaining progress toward KPIs. This includes managing quality of posts and other social content, crafting effective one-off posts, optimizing strategies to improve performance, and monitoring and responding to inquiries and comments based on best practices and maximizing ROI. Develop and execute content strategies for client engagements based on business objectives, budgets, brand identities, content ecosystems, and digital marketing strategies Produce high quality written communication elements, including but not limited to copy for digital ads, emails, print collateral, landing pages, and microsites Produce high quality articles, press releases, radio spots, and video scripts Collect and promote written and video testimonials from current students and graduates Identify and coordinate event marketing opportunities, including registering attendees, coordinating assets, and processes around lead delivery and attendee list delivery Research and oversee third-party marketing opportunities for academic programs, including proposing products and overall strategies to project teams, coordinating efforts to launch campaigns, and managing third-party vendor relationships Report results of event, direct mail, third party, email and social media marketing to stakeholders Required Skills 2+ years of experience managing organic social media marketing efforts 2+ years of short-form writing experience (specifically paid search and social ads, radio, direct mail, landing page, email marketing, and/or website copy) 2+ years of experience in project management or project coordination 2+ years of experience with event marketing, radio, direct mail and/or list-buying Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint Preferred Skills Higher education marketing and/or agency marketing Remote work Website management with systems like Drupal and/or WordPress Marketo or other marketing automation tools Public relations Vender and/or contractor management SEO (content-focused) Google Analytics Application Requirements: Please submit a cover letter and three writing samples.
