A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A COLLECTIONS MANAGER
TheCollections Managerwill work in a team environment handling a variety of tasks in ensuring timely conversion of accounts receivable.
Develops and administers collection programs
Monitors the collection amounts due to the organization
Designs and implements processes to improve cash flow and reduce receivables
Establishes and monitors metrics
Supervisors collection team
Oversees the application of cash in accordance with internal control procedures
Assists in collection calls and activities
Recommends adjustments and referrals to credit agencies
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years' experience in Credit and Collections
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
Microsoft Dynamics GP experience preferred
Experience in health care industry preferred, including Medicaid/CCC+
