Responsibilities
• Set up, operate, and adjust a variety of machines• Use precision measuring devices• Work from drawings with minimum instruction• Understand G and M Codes• Set and sharpen tools• Troubleshoot machines and perform minor repairs• Monitor gauges and indicators• Maintain attention to detail and handle multiple priorities• Take initiative to learn new maintenance skills• Assist in instructing set-up, operators, and operator trainees
Requirements
• Strong math skills and ability to read blueprints and technical information• Ability to lift 35lbs on a regular basis• Effectively use precision measuring devices• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities• Self-directed and initiative to learn new skills• Desired: 2-3 years CNC experience• Desired: Hands-on style with strong mechanical aptitude• Desired: Familiarity with HAAS, Okuma, and/or MAZAK CNC machine centers• Desired: Experience with CNC lathes, Davenport, or ACME
