JOB SUMMARY:Maximizes efficient operation of chilled water system as part of the CEP maintenance team. Utilizes experience in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines to install, maintain service, rebuild, troubleshoot, repair, and operate chiller plant equipment and infrastructure.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform basic repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance on Chillers (Example: chiller sensors, oil filter, oil replacement, seals, actuators).Perform installation, repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance on Pumps (Example: Rotating assemblies, bearings, impellers, seals).Perform installation, replacement, repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance on Motors and Variable Frequency Drives (Example: bearings, lubrication, shaft alignment, testing).Perform installation, repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance on the CEP BAS (Example: sensors, actuators, controllers, programing).Assist CEP Specialist, PDM, CEP Lead on all aspects of repairs, service, troubleshooting and maintenance.Training and development of CEP Operators and MechanicsInterface, communicate and oversee with third party contractors/vendors with infrastructure repairs, upgrades, repair or replacement of chiller plant equipment, underground mechanical utilities, and water treatment as required by management site wide.Maintain good housekeeping practices and standards for all mechanical rooms and central energy plants.Log operational conditions of chillers, towers and pumps.Complete assigned documentation (labor and work sheets).Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Technical school is preferred.EXPERIENCE:5+ years' experience in industrial and commercial construction, maintenance facility or a fast-paced service company dedicated to HVAC repair on chiller plant equipment is preferred.3+ years' experience in industrial and commercial construction, facility maintenance or a fast-paced service company dedicated to mechanical, electrical, plumbing disciplines is required.Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:A valid Florida Drivers' License is required to operate company vehicles.Certification of Training issued by either a State Regulatory Agency or construction trade school is required.
