Role Overview:
We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our marketing team. If you're results-driven and eager to make an impact, this role is for you. As a BDR, you'll play a crucial part in our sales and marketing process, responsible for creating awareness of our company in our target market and generating interest in our industry-leading products and services. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn the ropes of SaaS enterprise sales and pave the way for a rewarding career in the field.
Pay Range:
Competitive base salary ranging from USD$55,000 to USD$60,000 per year, with an achievable commission target of USD$20,000 per year.
Location:
This position is open to candidates residing in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates in the Rochester New York, Las Vegas, or Denver areas. This role can be hybrid or remote for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Qualification:
Develop and execute a defined methodology to generate qualified sales leads.
Engage prospects through various communication channels such as phone, email, social media, and targeted marketing campaigns.
Refer qualified leads to the appropriate account executive for further engagement.
Appointment Setting:
Achieve monthly production goals by scheduling appointments for the account executive team.
Utilize multiple communication channels to schedule appointments in line with company objectives.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Maintain accurate and relevant information in the Salesforce CRM database.
Track interactions and progress by maintaining a comprehensive activity history.
Information Capture:
Gather valuable business insights through meaningful interactions with prospects.
Contribute critical data to enhance our sales strategy.
Positive Image Projection:
Uphold the values of our company in all client and community interactions.
Maintain professionalism and adhere to core values to uphold the company's reputation.
Continuous Skill Development:
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Acquire technical, competitive, and sales skills knowledge to remain agile and relevant.

Skills Crucial to Success in this Role:
Demonstrated sales expertise with a hunter mentality and proven track record.
Technical aptitude, particularly in cloud and SaaS sales.
Proficiency in business development and lead generation.
Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
Associate's degree with a business focus or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of sales or business development experience.
At least 2 years of cold calling experience.
Minimum of 1 year of experience with CRM systems, including data entry.
