Assists with staff supervision, training, and administrative duties. Manufactures blood and blood products in compliance with regulatory/accrediting agencies and/or maintains product inventory, ordering and ensure blood products are prepared for shipment.
POSITION SCHEDULE: Candidate must be able to work varying schedules between the hours of 9a- 9p any day of the week with weekends required.
TRAINING SCHEDULE: Candidate must be available to work 8a - 4:30p for a period of 3-4 weeks for training.Responsibilities

Performs administrative duties as assigned
Ensures adequate inventory of required supplies
Manufactures, stores and distributes blood and blood products
Performs data entry associated with component production, labeling, storage and shipping ensuring accurate and complete manufacturing records
Operates, maintains and performs quality control checks on equipment
Ensures suitability and accurate labeling of products for release and distribution
Performs the quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products and/or samples
Prepares and submits quality control samples for testing.

High School diploma or equivalent and one year prior laboratory and/or blood bank experience. Prior team lead experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to organize work for timely completion
Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
Ability to speak, write, read and understand English
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Skill in operating office equipment.
