Job Summary This individual must have sufficient experience, be recognized as a future leader in the organization, and command respect from all functions. This individual will manage a product category and be responsible for everyday business results.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities Product DevelopmentProduct ManagementAssists in the identification, evaluation and development of business building ideas; works with other business unit team members to execute the plans that meet investment criteria.Collaborate with sales and Trade Marketing to develop In-Store Promotion planningWork with Brand Marketing to develop a media strategyCompetitive/Market Research executionPresentation developmentBusiness tracking-Analyze consumption and shipment data and compare results to established objectives ensuring marketing program effectiveness.Communicate product launches with the sales teamWork to improve key performance indicators (KPIs) including safety, quality, production, cost and development.Comply with all company policies and procedures.Other duties as assigned.Must understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment. Education and Experience Profile Bachelor's degree required, MBA strongly preferred.2-5 years of work experience in Marketing with a strong track record of increasing responsibility.Has assisted in new product development process from concept inception through market introductionHas assisted in the development and execution of annual marketing plans, preferably including advertising, media and consumer promotion planning.Has assisted in the development of new and existing item pricing strategies and product P&LsHas a solid grasp on consumer research methodologies.Has participated in key account sales presentations and has demonstrated strengths in working closely with sales and other functional departments.
