The Supply Chain Planning Digitization Excellence Associate Director is responsible to provide business process and system excellence for the Global Supply and Demand Planning organizations, enabling such areas to operate at their highest level. The incumbent will utilize Supply Chain best practices and methodologies along with system application and technologies knowledge to meet current and future operational requirements.
Proactively work with key stakeholders to gain a detailed understanding of business processes and technology.
Provide strong support in the roll-out of Global Supply and Demand Planning initiatives.
Proactively assess and identify solutions to business process and related system issues.
Leverage new digital and disruptive technologies in innovative ways to transform existing business practices.
Evaluate and facilitate prioritization of user requests for enhancements and/or upgrades of business applications.
Develop strong partnership with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding application changes and the introduction of new and/or enhanced functionality.
Act as functional project manager for changes to applications. Coordinate project team members, consultants and subject matter experts in design, configuration, testing, deployment and post go live support activities. Track and monitor team progress and take steps to proactively remediate issues that adversely impact project’s budget, schedule, resources and deliverables.
Develop strong relationship with IT and BI&A stakeholders to support technology enablement activities.
Act as a source of knowledge in areas of supply chain best practices and methodologies. Integrate supply chain best practices within business processes to enhance supply chain efficiency
Remain current on new industry-based trends as well as supply chain best practices.

Professional experience and qualifications
Education:
B.S. or BA in Supply Chain, Management and/or Engineering ( biotechnology, biology, chemistry, pharmacy, engineering or related disciplines).
Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management strongly preferred (e.g. APICS CSCP/ CPIM).
Operational excellence experience (Green/Black belt or equivalent) preferred.

Experience:
8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably Planning or Supply Chain Excellence.
Manufacturing Site Planning experience is required.
Prior experience in the design, development, testing, deployment and/or day-to-day management of supply chain SAP ERP system.
Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response highly desired.
Strong project management skills including the use of tools such as Gantt charts, critical path analysis, risk mitigation strategies and project management software.
Good understanding and exposure to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and other regulatory requirements.
Exposure and experience in Biotech/ Pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, principles and practices.
