Key Job Responsibilities of the Architectural Metal Specialties Project Manager:
Supervise and manage multiple commercial projects.
Conduct site visits and performs field measurements on commercial buildings.
Retrieve relevant material and wall construction data for future installations.
Incorporate and provide unique Jobsite information as needed.
Coordinate logistical support and visit job sites.
Work with Operations and the CAD Drafters/Design team to ensure. drawings reflect actual onsite conditions.
Follow-up with General Contractors and Site Superintendents via email and telephone.
Communicate effectively with customers both verbally and in writing.
Communicate with Production and Fabrication departments.
Assist with project scheduling and field operations.
Communicate with installation crews.
Actively participate in Project Team meetings.
Serve as a subject matter expert on all things construction/building related.
Other duties, as assigned.
Skills/Abilities of the Architectural Metal Specialties Project Manager
Strong grasp of construction properties and principles.
Understanding of the qualities of metals as well as other construction materials.
3 - 4 years of project management experience in a commercial construction/architectural environment.
Associate degree or higher (preferably in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field).
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Proficient reading architectural drawings and blueprints.
Knowledge of construction methods, building materials, and attachments.
Must be able to carry, climb, and use a ladder to gather site measurements, as needed.
Effective time management skills.
Ideal background/experience of Architectural Metal Specialties Project Manager:
Proven ability to work independently.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN THE COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY as a commercial/architectural project manager, site superintendent, construction manager, or similar related job title.
Computer literacy with Microsoft Office to include Microsoft Excel.
We are specifically looking for someone specializing in custom-engineered architectural products.
Knowledge of manufacturing and construction processes.
Competitive Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience ($60K-$70K) DOE.

401K with 100% match up to 4% of salary (after one year).
Must be able to regularly work from the company location (This is not a remote job!).
