Accounting Assistant

This Busy Manufacturing company is seeking a highly motivated candidate with excellent organizational and analytical skills with great attention to detail and accuracy to join our Accounting Department as Accounting Assistant.   Responsibilities:  •Provide accounting and clerical support to Accounting Department. •Manage Accounts Receivable: ensure payment of accounts receivable, reconcile and post payments; including collections. •Provide backup support for billing and accounts payable. •Assist with month end, quarter-end and year-end financial report preparation and audit requests. •Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents. •Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information. •Maintain financial security by following internal controls. •Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial  information confidential. •Perform other accounting activities as required.
