Under the guidance of the GM/COO, Director of Clubhouse Operations, and/or Director of Membership, the Youth Program Leader will assist with the implementation of summer youth programs. The Youth Program Leader is responsible for helping maintain a safe environment, ensuring a high level of program quality and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families. The Youth Program Leader will provide a positive role model to youth within the philosophy of the Meadowbrook Country Club standards and expectations with emphasis on organized, educational and member-value enhancement programs. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: Supervise the children, with first priority in their safety, at all times following risk management policies. Participate and encourage positive participation of all students in daily activities and events. Develop youth special events Lead organized activities for students to develop and strengthen their country club experience including physical and social skills. As needed, differentiate activities so they are appropriate to students with various abilities. Review program work plans for effective program implementation. Instruct children on the safe and proper use of supplies and equipment. Implement discipline techniques and classroom-style management. Lead a variety of activities, outings and field trips designed to benefit and enrich program participants. Interact with other departments to promote youth programs. Interact professionally and appropriately with staff, parents and children. Demonstrate the "Character Counts" values of caring, respect, honesty, and responsibility in all your interactions with children, members, and guests. Requirements * Must be 18 years or older
* Must have previous experience working with school aged children in an academic or recreational setting.
* 2 years of college education (minimum)
* Experience in supervising groups of children.
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills required.
* Mid-level experience in MS Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook
* CPR / First Aid and AED Certified
* Positive and friendly attitude a must!
